Senior Mechanical Static Engineer

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Mechanical Static Engineer to join a PMC project focused on NGL and gas processing in Abu Dhabi. The role is part of KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions, delivering high‑end design and engineering services for large‑scale oil & gas assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical static design and analysis for NGL/Gas Processing plants.
• Oversee FEED and EPC phases for mega projects exceeding USD 1 billion.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Review and approve detailed engineering documents and technical calculations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas experience.
• Proven experience on large‑scale FEED/EPC projects.
• Hands‑on involvement in NGL/Gas Processing plant projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
