Senior Mechanical/Project Engineer (Conveying)

About the role

Fives Services Gulf is looking for a Senior Mechanical/Project Engineer to lead technical engineering activities for its Conveying division across the GCC. The role focuses on overhead conveyor systems, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, performance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering, design and technical execution of P&F overhead conveyor projects from concept through completion.
• Develop and review layout drawings, 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings using CAD and FEA tools.
• Coordinate design reviews and technical clarifications with Fives Conveying headquarters.
• Provide technical guidance to installation and commissioning teams, resolve on‑site engineering issues and ensure compliance with Fives standards.
• Maintain alignment with regional business and operational strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering and project delivery experience (120 months indicated).
• Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects in an industrial environment.
• Strong communication skills to work with cross‑functional and regional teams.
