Senior Offshore Construction Manager

About the role

The Senior Offshore Construction Manager will lead and coordinate all offshore construction activities, ensuring technical compliance, timely delivery, and alignment with client requirements. This role acts as the central point of communication for offshore scope within the company.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare construction aids (load register) and finalize AFC drawings after departmental comments.
• Identify marine spread requirements and coordinate with VPOO/OOD.
• Coordinate survey requirements with the survey section.
• Define scope for pipe coating activities and monitor progress with the PMT fabrication engineer.
• Review engineering documents from a constructability perspective and consolidate comments for PEM.
• Follow up on deliverables with PEM and manage client reviews and approvals.
• Develop detailed work scopes and schedules for offshore subcontracted works.
• Issue purchase requisitions for offshore project material in coordination with SPM.
• Manage all client correspondence related to offshore scope.
• Initiate offshore project risk and opportunity assessments with planning and cost managers.
• Serve as focal point for all offshore-related communication across departments.
• Chair meetings with LME, OOD, OCD, PEM, NBM, and AVP‑OCS to discuss installation procedures.
• Supervise performance of OCE/ Sr OCE / LOCE and Project Material Coordinator for material delivery.
• Provide input for weekly and monthly reports and attend client meetings as required.
• Analyze major changes in offshore execution plans and liaise with third‑party agencies and marine warranty surveyors.
• Ensure implementation of project safety plan and company HSEMS, and enhance work quality.
