Senior Operator – Water Pumps System

About the role

The Senior Operator will lead the installation, commissioning and day‑to‑day operation of seawater pumping systems that support offshore drilling activities. You will ensure a safe, reliable and uninterrupted water supply while coordinating closely with the NOV office team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, commissioning and operation of seawater pumps and associated equipment.
• Manage daily operation and maintenance of high‑ and low‑pressure seawater pumping systems.
• Coordinate operators and technicians, maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with offshore HSE and client procedures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues, perform routine inspections and support preventive maintenance.
• Maintain operational logs, reports and permit‑to‑work documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of offshore oil & gas, water treatment or seawater pumping experience.
• Hands‑on experience with centrifugal, booster and high‑pressure pumps.
• Familiarity with ADNOC offshore work practices, Permit to Work (PTW) and HSE requirements.
• Previous experience leading operational teams is preferred.
• Valid offshore certifications such as BOSIET/TBOSIET, H₂S and ADNOC WMS are an advantage.
