Senior Piping Engineer – Offshore FEED

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to lead piping engineering and design activities for an offshore FEED project with ADNOC in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering safe, reliable, and cost‑effective piping systems for offshore oil and gas facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review piping design basis, material specifications, GA drawings, plot plans, and layout drawings ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.
• Prepare FEED deliverables, support cost estimation, and conduct constructability and safety reviews.
• Coordinate piping routing with multidisciplinary teams and participate in 3D model reviews and layout optimization workshops.
• Review material selections for carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, and GRE/GRP systems, and support corrosion and stress analysis studies.
• Engage with vendors on package requirements, technical bid evaluations, and interface coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 15 years of piping engineering experience in oil & gas, with at least 5 years on ADNOC offshore projects.
• Proven experience in FEED and detailed engineering phases for greenfield and brownfield offshore facilities.
