Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

Fisher HR is recruiting a Senior Planning Engineer in Abu Dhabi for storage tank projects. The role covers planning and scheduling, progress tracking, delay analysis and reporting, working closely with engineering, procurement and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project baseline and updated schedules in Primavera, and build detailed work breakdown structures and resource-loaded schedules.
• Review contractor and subcontractor schedules and confirm alignment with the master schedule.
• Maintain schedule integrity by managing logic, constraints and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track progress against the baseline and measure physical progress across engineering, procurement and construction; analyse delays and prepare recovery plans and time impact assessments.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and the client, and present schedule status, milestones, risks and forecasts.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams and support project managers in planning meetings and schedule-related issues.

Required profile

• 8+ years of planning experience in EPC projects.
• Experience in oil and gas and storage tank projects.
• Previous ADNOC project experience (mandatory).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent).

Required skills

• Strong command of Primavera P6.
