Senior PMC Engineer – Planning (Oil & Gas)

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Senior Engineer (Planning) to join its Engineering team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for large‑scale oil and gas projects, particularly for ADNOC clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed EPC schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project and create Level 1‑4 schedules.
• Maintain work breakdown structures, monitor progress against baselines, and update schedules with actual data.
• Identify variances, provide early warnings, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, generate S‑curves, dashboards and KPI reports for management and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas projects, with at least 5 years in a PMC role on ADNOC or similar Middle East projects.
• Proven experience on large EPC/EPCM contracts (CAPEX > USD 500 M) and familiarity with ADNOC standards.
• Eligibility to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa.
