About the role
We are seeking a Senior Powerplant Manager to lead the powerplant engineering team for a growing airline fleet based in Budapest. The role involves overseeing engine and APU reliability, maintenance planning and supporting commercial activities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Powerplant team.
- Oversee engine and APU reliability, maintenance, and shop visits.
- Develop strategies to optimise fleet performance and reduce maintenance costs.
- Manage relationships with OEMs and key technical stakeholders.
- Support commercial activities, maintenance planning and end‑of‑lease processes.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience as an airline Powerplant Engineer.
- Leadership experience and a relevant engineering degree.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Required skills
- IAE V2500 engine expertise.
- PW1100 GTF engine expertise.
- Knowledge of engine and APU maintenance contracts and commercial structures.
