Senior Process Engineer

About the role

Veolia is looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to take a leading role in designing and developing its process packages. The role is technically hands-on and ensures that process designs meet project specifications, applicable codes and standards, while optimising solutions for cost and performance. It suits someone with 8+ years of process design experience in the Oil & Gas or related industries.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the process design of the company's packages meets internal and international codes and standards
• Make sure simulations and calculations comply with project specifications, standards and design codes
• Optimise designs to minimise the overall cost of the company's products
• Check process documentation thoroughly for technical accuracy
• Represent the company at HAZOP / SIL and other design meetings
• Answer technical enquiries and comments from clients and third parties
• Review concept designs, bid submissions and complex bought-out item quotations
• Perform and review calculations for packages and individual components
• Guide junior members of the company and give technical advice on all products

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
• 8 years of process design experience in Oil & Gas or a related industry
• Familiarity with different international standards for process design
• Fundamental technical understanding of all the company's products
