Senior Procurement Engineer

About the role

Target Engineering is looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to lead end‑to‑end procurement for large‑scale EPC Oil & Gas projects in the GCC. You will work closely with engineering, project, logistics and QA/QC teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment while complying with client standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement from requisition through delivery, including RFQs, bid evaluation, purchase orders and expediting.
• Review technical specifications, MTOs and drawings in coordination with engineering and project teams.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with qualified vendors, ensuring compliance with ADNOC/ARAMCO procurement standards.
• Monitor schedules, costs and risks, supporting audits and vendor performance evaluations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience on EPC Oil & Gas projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience on ADNOC and/or ARAMCO projects is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of Oil & Gas equipment, bulk materials and packages.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and MS Office.
• Excellent commercial negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
