About the role
Fisher HR is recruiting a Senior Procurement Engineer based in Dubai. The role covers sourcing and evaluation, negotiation and order management, and coordination with engineering and project teams.
Key responsibilities
- Sourcing and evaluation: lead the preparation of RFQs and the sourcing of quotations from approved vendors; evaluate technical and commercial offers, prepare bid comparisons and recommend vendors.
- Negotiation and order management: negotiate prices, terms and delivery schedules with key suppliers, and oversee purchase orders and delivery performance to ensure on-time supply.
- Coordination and compliance: coordinate with engineering and project teams on specifications and material requirements, and ensure compliance with client procurement requirements and approved vendor lists.
- Guide and support junior procurement staff.
Required profile
- Senior-level oil and gas procurement experience.
- Experience working with a major national oil and gas operator.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Required skills
- Strong negotiation skills.
