Senior Project Engineer (Electrical)

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Electrical) to support planning, execution and delivery of projects, coordinating technical activities and managing contractor and consultant interfaces. The position is primarily office‑based in Abu Dhabi with regular coordination with site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Tendering and service order preparation, including scope definition, technical evaluation and commercial coordination.
• Assist in transition projects, planning, scheduling and coordination of all technical aspects.
• Review design drawings, specifications and technical documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Support the Senior Project Manager in site activities, contractor performance and stakeholder coordination.
• Monitor progress, ensure alignment with schedule, quality, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in oil‑field projects such as Majnoon.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in complex, multi‑disciplinary environments.
