Senior Relationship Officer - Credit Card Sales

About the role

Injaz's Retail Banking Group is hiring a Senior Relationship Officer in a call centre environment. The main purpose of the role is to sell credit cards and drive balance-building products such as Balance Transfer and Easy Cash, converting identified customer needs into sales.

Key responsibilities

• Sell credit cards and promote balance-building solutions matched to each customer's profile.
• Engage customers by phone and in person, identify their needs and turn opportunities into sales.
• Achieve assigned sales, revenue and productivity targets.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service while supporting portfolio growth.
• Work with the Team Leader, Product Manager and Inbound/Outbound Management on actions and follow-up.
• Resolve customer issues and working issues within the team and between telesales and other units.
• Make decisions on matters affecting leads and customer satisfaction, including lead generation quotas and adjustments.
• Conduct appraisal performance and MBO reviews for yourself.
• Recommend process improvements based on root cause analysis and handle real-time crises.

Required profile

• University graduate.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar environment; a practical marketing background is preferred.
• Strong sales and customer focus, creativity and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent presentation skills and a result-driven, business-sensitive attitude.
