Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer to join a 12‑month engagement (with renewal option) supporting the migration of Emirates Airline’s large automated customer communication program. The role involves redesigning email assets, journeys and data processes to align with a new loyalty platform.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing journeys, automations, email assets, data extensions, SQL queries, scripts and integrations impacted by the loyalty‑platform change.
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust SFMC solutions.
• Redevelop personalized emails, Journey Builder journeys and Automation Studio workflows.
• Build and maintain AMPscript, SQL, Server‑Side JavaScript, HTML/CSS and API integrations.
• Design data validation, transformation and enrichment processes to ensure data quality.
• Conduct developer testing, support system and business acceptance testing, and resolve defects.
• Assist with release planning, deployment, production validation and post‑release troubleshooting.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and provide regular progress updates.

Required profile

• 5+ years (60 months) of experience developing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Proven ability to work in complex SFMC environments with large numbers of automations and journeys.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
