Senior Social Media Manager

About the role

This strategic leadership role is responsible for shaping and driving social media performance across a diverse brand portfolio. You will define channel strategies, content direction, and audience engagement initiatives while working closely with marketing, creative, and brand teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies that support brand objectives and business growth.
• Lead content planning and storytelling across social platforms, ensuring consistency and relevance.
• Drive audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility through innovative social campaigns.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated digital marketing initiatives.
• Monitor online communities, audience conversations, and brand reputation across channels.
• Analyse social media performance data and transform insights into actionable recommendations.
• Manage agencies, budgets, and team performance while fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Media or related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in social media, digital marketing or related disciplines.
• Fluency in Arabic and English with ability to create and manage content in both languages.
• Proven experience developing and implementing successful social media strategies across multiple brands or markets.
• Deep understanding of major social platforms, audience behaviour and emerging digital trends.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret performance metrics and optimise results.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder and agency management experience.
