Senior Specialist Data Protection

About the role

The Senior Specialist Data Protection will lead ADNOC Group’s enterprise‑wide data strategy and governance program. You will ensure that data and technology policies, standards, and practices are consistently applied across the organization to protect sensitive information and support digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and roll out an enterprise‑wide data governance framework with a focus on data quality, security and privacy.
• Develop and maintain policy and procedural documents for group‑level data governance and management.
• Act as liaison between business, operations and technology teams to define and communicate data protection requirements.
• Maintain an inventory of enterprise information assets, including authoritative systems and owners.
• Support risk management by establishing assessment methodologies, maintaining risk registers and conducting periodic reviews.
• Facilitate adoption of ADNOC’s data quality and protection standards across the enterprise.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data governance, data protection or related fields within large, complex organizations.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for data privacy and security.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and manage escalations.
