Senior Specialist - Procurement

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for a Senior Specialist in Procurement to manage external suppliers and ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery of goods and services for its schools across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control all external suppliers, focusing on commercial terms and conditions.
• Negotiate contracts, discount structures and volume rebates, and establish strategic supplier relationships.
• Oversee tendering, framework agreements and supplier performance monitoring.
• Plan, schedule and monitor delivery of goods and services to schools, handling logistics and freight.
• Prepare purchase orders, conduct spend analysis and provide actionable insights.

Required profile

• Minimum graduate degree or related procurement qualification; CIPS certification is a plus.
• At least 6 years of procurement experience in the region, preferably in the education sector.
• Fluent English communication; Arabic is an added value.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ERP platforms, specifically Oracle.
• Proficiency with procurement software/tools such as SAP and Oracle.
• Strong data‑analytics and spend‑analysis capabilities.
