Senior Systems Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Systems Officer to join a prestigious client’s Dubai office. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the core IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security across servers, networks, and storage environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and basic Linux systems.
• Administer Active Directory services, including user accounts, group management, and access control.
• Monitor backup operations, perform data restoration, and validate backup integrity.
• Assist in managing virtualization environments (VMware / Hyper‑V) under supervision.
• Support storage systems and basic file‑server management.
• Monitor network performance, resolve LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi issues.
• Track system performance, logs, and security events, reporting suspicious activities to the Information Security Team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in IT systems and infrastructure.
