Senior Tax Associate – Pillar Two (GloBE) & Regional Tax Compliance

About the role

The Senior Tax Associate will lead the Pillar Two (GloBE) compliance programme for Chalhoub Group in Dubai and support regional direct tax obligations across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Pillar Two (DMTT, IIR, UTPR) compliance, reporting and registrations for all in‑scope entities.
• Prepare GloBE Information Returns, local DMTT/IIR returns and related tax provision calculations.
• Maintain the Pillar Two group structure, perform safe‑harbour calculations and detailed ETR modelling.
• Coordinate data collection and validation with Group Reporting, Finance Shared Services and in‑country finance teams.
• Support regional tax compliance in Kuwait, Qatar and other GCC jurisdictions, including liaison with tax authorities.
• Monitor OECD and local legislative developments and translate them into practical business impact assessments.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA/CPA/CA/ADIT (or equivalent) qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law or Economics.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on Pillar Two or corporate tax experience in consulting or in‑house roles.
• Demonstrated ability to work with incomplete information and meet multiple statutory deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong Excel and data‑handling capabilities for multi‑entity calculations.
• Working knowledge of the OECD GloBE framework, Model Rules, Safe Harbours and GIR.
• Understanding of corporate income tax, IFRS and IAS 12 deferred tax accounting.
