Senior Traffic and Transportation Engineer

About the role

The Senior Traffic and Transportation Engineer will lead and deliver traffic and transportation engineering studies, designs, and reports for roadway, highway, and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. This full‑time, on‑site position involves overseeing traffic impact assessments, capacity and level‑of‑service analyses, and multimodal transportation planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review design drawings, technical specifications, and calculations ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
• Conduct traffic impact assessments, capacity analyses, intersection and corridor studies, and multimodal transportation planning.
• Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams, clients, authorities, and stakeholders throughout project phases.
• Participate in proposal development, scope definition, and quality control activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s in Transportation or Traffic Engineering preferred).
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience delivering transportation and traffic projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
