Service Technician – Electric Vehicle

About the role

Join BYD and Al-Futtaim Automotive as an Electric Vehicle Service Technician in the UAE. You will work in a modern workshop, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing cutting‑edge BYD electric cars while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on BYD electric vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot high‑voltage components, battery packs and charging systems.
• Carry out repairs following manufacturer guidelines and EV safety procedures.
• Complete vehicle inspections and generate Electronic Vehicle Check (EVC) reports.
• Maintain workshop 5S standards and ensure efficient use of parts and tools.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to deliver excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Strong background in vehicle diagnostics and repair.
• Experience with electrical, electronic and automotive systems.
• Familiarity with high‑voltage safety protocols is preferred.
• Ability to work accurately and minimise vehicle downtime.
