Service Technician – Elevators & Escalators

About the role

Otis is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join its field team in Sharjah. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on elevators and escalators to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose technical faults in elevator and escalator systems and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out repairs, part replacements and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) to optimise performance and safety.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each job.
• Ensure all work complies with local safety regulations and Otis standards.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or a B.Tech degree.
• 5‑8 years of hands‑on experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
• Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator components and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a service team.
