About the role
Otis Elevator is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join its Sharjah team. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on elevators and escalators to ensure safety and optimal performance.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in elevator and escalator systems.
- Perform repairs, preventive maintenance (PPM), and routine inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service.
Required profile
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or B.Tech.
- 5-8 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
- Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator components and systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required skills
- Elevator system troubleshooting
- Escalator system repair
- Preventive maintenance (PPM) procedures
- Understanding of safety regulations for lift equipment
