About the role
No experience required – open for freshers. The Shisha Man prepares and serves hookah (shisha) to customers in a lounge, café or restaurant, ensuring a pleasant and safe experience.
Key responsibilities
- Set up the hookah by assembling the pipe, filling the bowl with flavored tobacco and checking that all equipment is clean and functional.
- Interact with customers, take orders for shisha flavors and drinks, provide recommendations and ensure a positive experience.
- Prepare the shisha by lighting charcoal, placing it on the tobacco and managing heat for smooth smoke.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shisha area, regularly clean pipes, change water and dispose of used charcoal and tobacco.
- Follow safety regulations, ensure proper ventilation and handle hot charcoal safely.
- Upsell snacks, beverages and shisha accessories to increase sales.
- Process payments accurately using cash or POS systems.
- Monitor inventory of shisha supplies, flavors and accessories and report replenishment needs to management.
