Shop Assistant – Gift & Food Preparation

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, creative, and detail‑oriented lady to join Lazizz Signature. The position blends gift packing, food and drink preparation, customer service, stock control, and hygiene while contributing fresh ideas to our menu.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and pack stuffed‑date gift boxes and other Lazizz products, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
• Prepare and serve sandwiches, croissants, wraps, Kashta, Bouza Arabeyye, Knefeh, and other light foods and sweets.
• Make coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cocktails, sodas, iced and signature drinks using syrups, sauces, and fresh ingredients.
• Suggest new drinks, desserts, and sandwich combinations while adhering to approved recipes and quality standards.
• Welcome customers, process shop and online orders, recommend products, and support upselling.
• Manage inventory, follow FIFO, monitor expiry dates, and control wastage.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safe handling, cleaning, and equipment sanitation.
• Support daily shop operations, including opening, closing, mise‑en‑place, cleaning, and restocking.

Required profile

• Friendly, proactive, presentable, creative, organized, and dependable.
• Good spoken and written English; Arabic and/or Russian are a plus.
• Experience in food preparation, food hygiene, or barista/café work is preferred.
• Valid UAE residence status and eligibility for a work permit; company‑sponsored visa may be offered after probation.
