Shopify Expert for Luxury Fashion E‑commerce

About the role

We are looking for a Shopify Expert to build and maintain custom features for a Shopify Plus luxury fashion e‑commerce store. You will work on theme development, API integrations, custom apps, and platform optimisation for a growing Dubai‑based brand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customise Shopify Plus themes using Liquid, custom sections and responsive design.
• Build and integrate custom Shopify apps via REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Integrate third‑party services such as payment gateways, CRM, analytics and returns systems.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel‑perfect, performant code.
• Optimise store performance and conversion metrics (page speed, UX, Core Web Vitals).
• Develop backend solutions and micro‑services with Node.js, webhooks and automation.
• Troubleshoot and debug platform issues.
• Collaborate with management and product teams on feature implementation.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of hands‑on Shopify development experience.
• Strong UI/UX sensibility and ability to read Figma design files.
• Self‑directed problem‑solver with clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Shopify Plus platform knowledge (Liquid, custom apps, advanced features).
• Liquid templating, JavaScript, React.
• Figma navigation and implementation.
• Node.js, RESTful APIs, GraphQL basics.
• PostgreSQL, MongoDB (or similar).
• Git, GitHub version control.
