Shovel Operator – Heavy Equipment Operator

About the role

The Shovel Operator will operate and maintain heavy shovel equipment safely and efficiently on a variety of project sites, including marine and beach environments. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards and smooth coordination with site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the shovel for loading, excavation, and material handling as instructed.
• Perform daily pre‑start inspections and basic maintenance to ensure proper machine functioning.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and the plant team to meet project timelines.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies during operation.
• Report mechanical issues, damages, or incidents immediately to the Plant Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the equipment at all times.
• Support other equipment or site activities as directed by the Plant Manager.

Required profile

• Valid UAE Shovel Operator (Heavy Tractor) license.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English for work instructions.
• Driving License No. 3 (LTV) is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and site safety standards.
• Capability to work in marine or beach site environments.
