SIRA Certified ELV Technician & ELV Engineer

About the role

An established and growing IT and security systems company in Dubai is expanding its technical team and is looking for an experienced ELV (Extra Low Voltage) professional. The role covers both hands-on installation and testing of ELV systems and the engineering side of designing and supervising them.

Key responsibilities

• ELV Technician: install, terminate and test ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, intercoms, structured cabling, audio-video and SMATV
• Read and interpret electrical and ELV drawings, conduct site inspections and prepare basic reports
• Coordinate with the site engineer and project teams, and perform regular maintenance and support services
• Follow safety and quality standards according to SIRA and company norms
• ELV Engineer: design and supervise the implementation of ELV and security systems
• Prepare technical shop drawings, load schedules and BOQs, plan materials and meet project timelines
• Manage technicians on site, coordinate with clients, consultants and internal teams, and troubleshoot complex system faults

Required profile

• SIRA certification is mandatory
• 2 to 4 years of UAE experience in ELV or low current installations
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Currently available in the UAE; driving licence is a plus

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of installation tools and techniques
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and ELV system design software
