Site Civil Engineer

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Site Civil Engineer to supervise day‑to‑day civil construction activities on ongoing projects in Dubai. The role involves ensuring that all site works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and the project schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at the project site.
• Read, review and interpret civil, structural and architectural drawings to guarantee accurate execution.
• Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, subcontractors and consultants to maintain smooth progress.
• Monitor site progress, quality and safety, and report any discrepancies or technical issues.
• Maintain daily progress reports, construction documentation and assist with consultant inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years of civil construction and site execution experience, including at least 2–3 years of hands‑on UAE experience.
• Proven ability to read and interpret civil, structural and architectural drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, quality standards and site safety practices.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
