Site Engineer - Plumbing

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a plumbing site engineer for a well-known civil and MEP contracting company in the UAE, which has ongoing building and infrastructure projects. The role covers supervision of plumbing installation, coordination with the store and procurement, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation of water supply, drainage and sanitary piping according to approved drawings
• Monitor pipe installation, supports, sleeves and fixture works on site
• Read shop drawings and coordinate material requirements with the store and procurement
• Arrange pressure testing and attend inspections with the consultant
• Allocate daily tasks to foremen and chargehands and monitor productivity
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain inspection records
• Ensure quality workmanship and HSE compliance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 1 to 5 years of plumbing site experience in building construction; GCC experience is an advantage
• Valid passport with minimum 2 years validity
• Good communication skills in English; Hindi or Arabic is an advantage
• Ready to join at the earliest or within the notice period

Required skills

• Ability to read plumbing and drainage drawings
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office
