Site Manager – Construction Project Execution

About the role

The Site Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the execution of construction projects on‑site, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This role works closely with internal departments, consultants and clients to deliver successful installations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans, allocating manpower, materials, tools and equipment.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from labour sub‑contractors, secure approvals and schedule appointments.
• Design installation layouts based on client/consultant drawings and obtain client approval.
• Conduct site meetings with consultants and clients, address queries, manage changes and arrange additional quotations.
• Maintain internal HSE, QA and QC procedures and ensure compliance with municipal/legal requirements.
• Supervise daily site activities, provide on‑spot guidance, and monitor quality of workmanship.
• Coordinate project close‑out, handover to client, and obtain completion certificates.
• Approve invoices, ensure timely credit collection and resolve commercial issues with the QS team.
• Manage snag lists, schedule subcontractor work and monitor timely completion.
• Guide and motivate subordinates, fostering performance and development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning and coordinating construction projects on site.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, consultants and client relationships.
• Knowledge of HSE, QA/QC procedures and municipal/legal formalities.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience in project documentation, scheduling and close‑out processes.
