Site Nurse – Construction Project (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Nurse to join our Abu Dhabi construction project. The role involves delivering on‑site medical care, handling emergencies and supporting occupational health for a large, multinational workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first aid and primary healthcare to site personnel and respond to workplace injuries and medical emergencies.
• Stabilise patients, coordinate ambulance or hospital transfers, and maintain emergency medical equipment and first‑aid stations.
• Conduct health assessments, monitor workers with chronic conditions and ensure medical records comply with UAE regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi OSHAD/ADOSH standards and support health‑related incident investigations.
• Perform routine vital checks, health surveillance, vaccination campaigns and heat‑stress monitoring.
• Deliver awareness sessions on dehydration, fatigue and related topics.
• Prepare monthly health reports, manage medical inventory and liaise with local hospitals and service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Nursing with a valid UAE nursing licence (DOH preferred).
• 8–10 years of nursing experience, including 3–5 years in construction, industrial, oil & gas or remote site environments.
• Proven experience managing workplace injuries, emergency response and multinational workforces.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of occupational health practices and OSHAD/ADOSH compliance.
• Medical record management and reporting.
