Skid Steer Operator – Water Pipeline Construction

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our water pipeline construction project in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will operate skid‑steer loaders (Bobcats) safely and efficiently to support excavation, pipe laying, backfilling and site preparation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate skid‑steer equipment on pipeline construction sites, following excavation drawings and supervisor instructions.
• Assist with trench excavation, grading, backfilling and levelling for water pipeline installation.
• Load, unload and transport materials such as pipes, sand, gravel and tools.
• Support pipeline crews during pipe laying, compaction and site clean‑up.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance, ensuring proper use of attachments (buckets, breakers, augers, forks).
• Maintain safe distances around underground utilities and existing services.
• Coordinate with supervisors, surveyors and other equipment operators on‑site.

Required profile

• High school graduate or ALS certificate.
• Valid heavy‑equipment operator licence or TESDA NC II certification.
• Minimum two years of experience operating skid‑steer machines, preferably on utility or pipeline projects.
• Knowledge of trench safety and underground utility protection.
• Ability to work in a team and follow site instructions.
