Skilled Painter for Facility Maintenance

About the role

GMG is seeking a reliable Painter to carry out interior and exterior painting, polishing, and surface‑finishing tasks across its facilities in Dubai. The role ensures all surfaces are maintained to high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting on walls, ceilings, doors, windows and other surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling and applying primer.
• Apply paints, varnishes and protective coatings using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Execute touch‑up, preventive and corrective maintenance painting work.
• Identify and report surface damage, leaks or defects that need further maintenance.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment and materials in good condition.
• Follow work orders and complete tasks within agreed timelines.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements and use PPE.

Required profile

• High School Certificate or equivalent.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a painter in facilities management or building maintenance.
• Experience in GCC/UAE environments is preferred.

Required skills

• Surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, filling, priming).
• Paint application and coating techniques.
• Use of painting tools and equipment.
• Compliance with HSE standards and proper use of PPE.
