Social Media Marketing Manager - Maternity Cover

About the role

Queen Elizabeth's School, Dubai Sports City is looking for an experienced Social Media Marketing Manager to join its Marketing team on a fixed-term contract of up to six months to provide maternity cover. The role takes ownership of the school's organic social media presence and digital visibility, supporting both the school and the wider Queen Elizabeth's Global Schools network. It is a hands-on, on-site position starting in November 2026, five days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage organic social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and X.
• Plan and manage content calendars aligned with the school's academic, admissions and events calendar.
• Create engaging, platform-specific content, including Reels, Stories, carousels and short-form videos.
• Cover school events on site, including photography and videography where required.
• Manage community engagement, including comments and direct messages.
• Lead SEO activities, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, content briefs and local SEO for Dubai.
• Monitor performance using GA4, Google Search Console and social media analytics, and provide regular reports and recommendations.
• Track social media trends and competitor activity to improve engagement and reach.
• Ensure all content complies with KHDA requirements, safeguarding standards and school policies, including consent and approval processes.
• Work with Marketing, Admissions, Academics and senior leadership to turn school priorities into content and campaigns.

Required profile

• 4-5 years' experience in social media and digital marketing, ideally in the education sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Experience managing content independently from planning through to publishing and reporting.
• Currently based in Dubai and available to start in November 2026; candidates able to work under their own visa sponsorship are preferred.
• Willingness to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and police clearance certificates from all countries lived in.

Required skills

• Strong experience managing organic social media across multiple platforms.
• Copywriting and short-form video creation and editing.
• SEO, GA4 and Google Search Console.
• Understanding of safeguarding, consent and compliance when creating content involving children and young people.
