Social Media Specialist (Open to All Nationalities)

About the role

The Social Media Specialist will manage Ajman University's social media presence across multiple platforms, creating engaging content and measuring performance to support the university's marketing goals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube channels with consistent branding.
• Create persuasive posts, videos, images, and infographics.
• Monitor trends, audience behavior, and competitor activity to refine strategies.
• Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to source stories and content.
• Plan and run paid social campaigns promoting programs and initiatives.
• Track metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversions, delivering regular reports.
• Build relationships with relevant influencers aligned with university branding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations.
• Minimum three years of experience managing social media platforms and executing tactics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Experience using social media management tools, analytics platforms, and influencer management platforms.
• Ability to create content including text, images, video, and infographics.
• Understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and best practices.
