Social Studies Teacher for Arab Students (Male)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated male Social Studies teacher to deliver engaging lessons to Arab students in Sharjah. The role involves creating a supportive learning environment, aligning instruction with curriculum standards, and preparing students for academic success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop schemes of work and detailed lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives and cater to diverse learning needs.
• Facilitate learning by establishing strong relationships with pupils and organizing resources and the classroom environment effectively.
• Assess and record student progress regularly, providing feedback and preparing pupils for examinations.
• Link pupils' existing knowledge to new concepts, designing challenging activities that inspire deeper understanding.
• Develop and foster appropriate social and life skills to support optimum development according to age, ability and aptitude.
• Create engaging, inquiry‑based lessons that promote critical thinking and active participation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, Geography, History or a related discipline.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in the UAE.
• Ability to inspire, challenge and support Arab students in a multicultural classroom.
