Software Engineer

About the role

EDGE Group is seeking a motivated Software Engineer with 5 years of professional experience to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, system engineers, and developers to implement new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews, develop unit/integration/system tests, and support deployment activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of hands‑on software development and application support experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in two or more languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript.
• Experience with Git or similar version‑control systems.
• Linux operating system experience.
