Solutions Engineer

About the role

The Solutions Engineer acts as the technical bridge between customers and Quviant's engineering teams, assessing network environments, capturing requirements, and delivering solution designs that drive measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales to assess customer networks, capture technical requirements, and design tailored solutions.
• Design, test, and deploy multi‑path traffic orchestration across satellite and terrestrial environments.
• Lead end‑to‑end proof‑of‑concepts, defining success criteria, hardware specs, installation, configuration and testing.
• Troubleshoot complex issues with customers, QA and engineering, and manage handoff from POC to production.
• Use scripting and DevOps practices to automate configuration, workflow and tooling for repeatable deployments.
• Act as a technical advisor, conduct training sessions and workshops, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project execution and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years of network engineering experience across terrestrial and/or satellite communications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with both technical and executive audiences.
• Project management experience with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required skills

• Deep networking fundamentals: routing, switching, network security, wireless, datacenter networking.
• Hands‑on experience with SDN and multi‑vendor SD‑WAN platforms (e.g., Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud, Cisco Meraki/Viptela, Cradlepoint, Palo Alto).
• Scripting and DevOps in networking: Python, REST APIs, configuration orchestration, zero‑touch provisioning, workflow automation.
• Virtual infrastructure management: VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, KVM.
• Experience with next‑generation firewalls and network automation tools.
