Sommelier (M/F) – Dubai

About the role

Big Mamma Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Sommelier for its Gloria Osteria restaurant in Dubai. You will be the wine reference point, delivering memorable dining experiences and supporting the overall Food & Beverage operation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding guest experience by recommending thoughtful wine pairings and handling feedback professionally.
• Act as the restaurant’s wine expert, training colleagues and sharing expertise with guests.
• Oversee the wine cellar and wine list, ensuring proper storage, stock rotation, inventory control and cost management.
• Support business performance by contributing to revenue and profitability objectives through effective wine management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a sommelier in a high‑end restaurant environment.
• Recognized sommelier certification (e.g., WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, AIS or equivalent).
• Understanding of the supplier chain, ordering processes and inventory management.
