Spa Receptionist

About the role

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests visiting the hotel’s spa and salon. You will manage bookings, provide information, and ensure a seamless, welcoming experience for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule individual and group spa/salon services using the reservation software.
• Confirm appointments by phone and answer guest inquiries about services.
• Maintain up‑to‑date reservation and cancellation lists, notifying providers of any changes.
• Check‑in guests, verify details, and give a brief orientation of spa facilities.
• Promote and sell spa and salon treatments.
• Handle cash and card payments, process authorisations, and log employee tips.
• Balance receipts, scan documents and forward them to Accounting.
• Report maintenance issues to Engineering and safety incidents to management.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and assist guests with disabilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal communication and professional telephone etiquette.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Attention to detail when handling cash, receipts and reservation data.
• Ability to work collaboratively with spa staff and hotel departments.

Required skills

• Experience using spa or salon reservation software.
• Cash handling and basic point‑of‑sale operations.
