About the role

The Spa Therapist provides massage and body treatment services to guests at St. Regis Abu Dhabi, ensuring comfort, safety, and a high-quality spa experience. The role involves assessing guest needs, maintaining a clean work environment, and promoting spa services and retail offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide massage services using props and products, and body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
• Assess guest needs and contraindications before each service.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and maintain workstation cleanliness.
• Promote and sell spa services and related retail items.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott International SOPs.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training.

Required profile

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School degree.
• At least 1 year of related spa or massage experience.
• State or Regional Massage License.

Required skills

• Proficiency in massage techniques and body treatment modalities.
• Ability to assess guest health conditions and contraindications.
• Knowledge of spa product usage and retail promotion.
