Specialist Drilling TRS

About the role

The Specialist Drilling TRS will set and manage lump‑sum turnkey campaign scopes, overseeing unconventional drilling and testing activities such as UBD, MLT and multi‑stage fracs. The role includes cost control, rig scheduling and coordination with multiple service companies.

Key responsibilities

• Report and update drilling and well operations for the Biogenic Shallow Gas project to ensure alignment with plans.
• Lead integrated project management teams of service companies to execute ADNOC Exploration Biogenic Gas wells.
• Endorse and approve drilling programs, well plans and AFE for assigned wells.
• Define full field development plans in collaboration with petroleum, reservoir engineers and petrophysicists.
• Provide technical advice to the Exploration function on drilling planning, well prognosis and requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in drilling/workover engineering and operations, preferably both offshore rig and office roles.
• Experience with OPCOs in the UAE and with new drilling technologies (UBD, MPD, CTD, ERD).
• Proven track record of leading drilling teams and business planning for wells and operations.

Required skills

• Unconventional drilling techniques: UBD, MPD, CTD, ERD.
• Professional use of drilling software, preferably Landmark package.
