About the role

Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital in Sharjah is seeking a Specialist in Emergency Medicine to join its dynamic Emergency Department. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered emergency care in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for acute and critical patients.
• Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization in line with international standards and hospital protocols.
• Manage a high volume of cases while ensuring safety and quality of care.
• Carry out emergency procedures and interventions as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and appropriate patient disposition.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement projects and departmental activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support junior medical staff and contribute to clinical teaching when needed.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Emergency Medicine.
• Board certification or equivalent (Arab Board, Syrian Board, European, UK, or American Board preferred).
• Valid DOH license or eligibility for a Specialist Emergency Medicine position.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience working in an Emergency Department.
• Proven ability to manage acute and critical conditions effectively.
