Specialist Internal Auditor (UAE National)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Specialist Internal Auditor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of audit and risk management engagements and develop your internal audit career.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of audit strategy and contribute to annual audit planning.
• Participate in engagement planning, define audit scope, conduct risk assessments and prepare audit programs.
• Execute fieldwork, perform control testing, document results and identify root causes of findings.
• Draft audit reports, ensure quality of documentation and follow up on management action plans.
• Supervise junior team members and ensure compliance with IIA standards and quality assurance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and utilize data analysis and audit support tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience; prior audit or Big Four experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational abilities.
