About the role

NMC Specialty Hospital in Al Ain is looking for a qualified and experienced Specialist Neurologist to join its medical team and deliver high-quality neurological care to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological disorders.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient consultations and inpatient neurological care.
• Assess and manage neurological emergencies and provide on-call coverage as required.
• Interpret neurological investigations and oversee EEG/EMG services in line with clinical privileges.
• Develop treatment plans and ensure continuity of patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with clinical governance, quality and patient safety standards.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognised postgraduate qualification in Neurology.
• Valid DOH Abu Dhabi Specialist Neurology licence or eligibility, subject to regulatory requirements.
• Relevant postgraduate clinical experience in Neurology.
• Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety and continuous professional development.
