Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

About the role

Mediclinic Middle East is recruiting one Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist for its Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi. The consultant provides patient-centred, evidence-based care while complying with ethical and professional standards set by the company and regulatory authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, professional and ethical clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient manner
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Promote continuous professional development of self and colleagues
• Carry out clinical services ethically and responsibly

Required profile

• Basic medical degree and a recognised specialty qualification (fellowship or diploma)
• Certification and registration in a specialty recognised by the UAE healthcare authority
• Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)
• At least 3-5 years of post-qualification specialist experience; 1 year of specialist experience from a Tier 1 country is desired
