Specialist Periodontist

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is looking for an experienced Specialist Periodontist to provide advanced periodontal care. The specialist diagnoses and treats gum diseases and the supporting structures of the teeth, working on site in the Kiran department.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage periodontal diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis
• Perform deep cleaning, scaling and root planing
• Provide surgical periodontal treatments such as gum grafting and regenerative procedures
• Place dental implants and related periodontal procedures where appropriate
• Manage gum recession, bone loss and other periodontal conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and long-term periodontal maintenance
• Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow clinical protocols

Required profile

• BDS or equivalent dental degree
• MDS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Periodontology
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred
• Experience in periodontal surgery, implant-related procedures and gum disease management
• Strong clinical skills and excellent patient communication
