Specialist - Procurement Inflight & Catering

About the role

The Specialist – Procurement Inflight & Catering will manage end‑to‑end procurement activities for inflight catering operations, including strategic sourcing, tender management, supplier relationships and contract administration across the airline network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle for inflight catering services, from sourcing and tendering to negotiation, award and contract management.
• Support new route launches and network expansion by sourcing suitable catering solutions within required timelines.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, SLAs, rebates, penalties and KPIs to achieve best value.
• Maintain strong Supplier Relationship Management practices and develop contingency supplier strategies.
• Coordinate business reviews with suppliers, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions.
• Guide the procurement team in commercial and financial evaluations, spend analysis and cost optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration or Hospitality Management.
• Minimum 4 years procurement experience, preferably in airline inflight catering or related hospitality procurement.
• Overall 7‑9 years of relevant experience.
• Procurement/Supply Chain certification (CIPS or similar) is required.
