Sponsorships & Events Specialist

About the role

Emirates' Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand team represents the group's values and goals internally and with customers worldwide. The Sponsorships & Events Specialist delivers end-to-end events, activities and in-stadium activations within assigned regions or EK Group business units, keeping them aligned with objectives, deadlines and budget. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and agency partners and oversees the administrative and logistical elements of each event.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver events, activities and sponsorships activations at the event itself, including crew and graphics.
• Ensure delivery meets the budget, time and objectives set by Global Brand, Regional CCMB teams or internal business units, and aligns with the Manager Marketing Communications brief and the Marketing Operations plan.
• Define and source internal and external resources, using financial and non-financial resources efficiently while maintaining documented budgets and cost management.
• Make sure sponsorships and events meet agreed service level agreements and brand standards.
• Oversee delegated tasks given to internal or external support parties, escalate risks and document them appropriately.
• Advise and guide outstations before events to set local requirements and expectations, and share best-practice guidelines with the wider team.

Required profile

• 5+ years in marketing and media communications.
• Degree or honours (12+3) or equivalent, preferably in marketing or a related field.
• Experience in marketing management in a multinational company handling sponsorships and events.
• Ability to adapt and work well under pressure with high volumes and tight deadlines.
• Supervisory skills to organise suppliers and resources effectively during an event.

Required skills

• Strong project management and organisational skills, able to manage several issues at once and prioritise objectively.
• Cost management and budget documentation.
